After more than 20 years in the fire service, I have seen firsthand that the difference between a close call and a tragedy often comes down to a few seconds of early warning.

During my career responding to structure fires, I realized how many households—even those that are well-maintained—are operating with expired, improperly placed, or non-functioning smoke alarms. I’ve spent two decades in the homes of our community, developing and implementing professional alarm protocols and learning the technical nuances that ensure a system actually works when it matters most.

Why I Started This Service
